Blood Pressure 111/71, pulse 116, what is wrong with me – help?
First of all I used an automatic wrist blood pressure monitor, are these accurate?
Second of all I did go to the gym about an hour prior, but only did light activity on the treadmill. I am worried about my pulse, isn’t it too high especially considering the low blood pressure?
AND Could the high pulse be compensating for the low BP?
Pulse rate is above normal. (Normal: 60-100 beats per minute).
Blood pressure is normal. But if you have got fatigue, dizziness, light headedness or fainting, orthostatic hypotension is suspected. You may undergo cardiac stress test in an hospital in consultation with a cardiologist.
