Littman stethoscopes for a nurse practitioner?
hey my mom is going starting to finish up her nurse practitioner degree and I want to get her a littman stethoscope because she used to have one and she loved it. But she lent it out to a friend and never saw it again. She mentioned she was going to look at one when she finished school completely, she said that she thinks a cardiology one would be overkill but I don’t know if she thinks that because of the price or what ever. She is doing clinical work now so I want to surprise her get it early and she can use it for clinicals.
So I was wondering what Littman I should get her, I really don’t mind about the prices cause she’ll be using it everyday. Thanks

As a nurse practitioner, something more than a Littman Select might be appropriate. The Littman Classic II SE comes in a variety of colors, and is very good for an all-purpose stethoscope. I agree that a cardiology model would be overkill. Stethoscopes tend to get lost every few years.
